Pre-Turkey Shoot Needs

Turkey Shoot Preparations are underway! The PTO needs help with a lot of preparation before the big event on Friday, November 20th.

What is the WHES Turkey Shoot?

The 42nd Annual Witchcraft Elementary School Turkey Shoot is an adults-only event where families, businesses, and the community at large come together to support public education.

The Turkey Shoot is a fun-filled evening of prizes, friends, and food. Tickets are purchased in strips, and everything from restaurant gift certificates to a Thanksgiving turkey are raffled off in random order. There are also big-ticket items available in a separate Grand Raffle. Some examples of items in the past have included autographed sports memorabilia, hotel stays, Boston sports tickets, and some teacher/administrator for a day prizes.

The money raised in this event is used directly to enrich the lives of our students through field trips, enrichment activities, and other fun events throughout the school year. We hope we can count on your support this year!

How can you help?

The amazing Turkey Shoot Coordinator, Nicole Lunt, is already preparing for the big event. There are many ways to help including helping with the items below, donating items for the bake sale, and/or helping the day of the event. All help is appreciated!

Help with Calling Business for Donations

A dedicated group of caregivers work every year to call local businesses to ask for donations for the Turkey Shoot. Additional help is always needed. The Turkey Shoot Coordinator, Nicole Lunt, will provide guidance for anyone who is willing to help with this part of the process.
